2. INITIAL OBSERVATIONS: VISUAL CUES TO DWI

Drivers who are impaired frequently exhibit certain effects or symptoms of impairment. These include:

  • slowed reactions;

  • impaired judgment as evidenced by a willingness to take risks;

  • impaired vision; and

  • poor coordination
